Etodex Spray
Etodex is an antiseptic drug with a moderate analgesic effect.
Active ingredient: hexetidine 1.92 mg/ml
Excipients: sodium saccharin, eucalyptus oil, orange flower oil, mint oil, levomenthol, methyl salicylate, glycerin 85%, ethanol 96%.
Disinfection of the oral cavity and pharynx in case of inflammatory and infectious
diseases such as tonsillitis, pharyngitis, gingivitis, periodontal disease, stomatitis, glossitis, aphthae, as well as for disinfection before and after tonsillectomy, tooth extraction and other surgical interventions in the oral cavity, elimination of bad breath, supporting treatment of streptococcal sore throat with concomitant treatment antibiotics. Etodex is used in adults and children over 8 years of age.
It is used oropharyngeally. Remove the protective cap from the bottle. The free end of the sprayer is inserted into the mouth and pressed on the sprayer head for 1-2 seconds.
During use of the drug, the bottle must remain in an upright position!
Adults and children over 8 years old:
One dose (one spray) is applied twice a day, preferably in the morning and evening, after meals; if necessary, the dose can be increased to 2 sprays 3 times a day.
Hexetidine coats the surface of the mucous membrane, which leads to a long-term effect. Therefore, it is recommended to use the drug after meals.
The duration of treatment should not exceed 5 consecutive days. Extension of treatment after this period is possible only on the recommendation of a doctor.
Elderly patients:
The same doses as for adults are recommended.
