Karnilev Solution
Levocarnitine has an anabolic effect, stimulates the secretion of gastric juice, slows down the breakdown of protein and carbohydrate molecules. Reduces excess body weight and reduces muscle fat.
Each 1 ml contains: L-carnitine – 100 mg;
excipients: malic acid, sodium methylparaben, sodium propylparaben, sodium saccharin, orange flavor, purified water.
- secondary carnitine deficiency – congenital (organic aciduria), acquired alimentary carnitine deficiency (malabsorption, intestinal diseases), in patients receiving hemodialysis for a long time and having the following symptoms – severe persistent muscle spasms, myopathies, loss of muscle mass, skeletal muscle weakness, symptoms hypotension, anemia, impaired renal reabsorption (CRF)
- impaired metabolism in the myocardium in the case of ischemic cardiomyopathy (in the myocardium, the utilization of fatty acids as an energy source occurs very intensively, therefore it especially needs L-carnitine, after its use, an increase in the force of contractions is noted, prevention of further muscle degeneration, normalization of the ECG)
- angina pectoris, acute myocardial infarction, a state of severe hypoperfusion due to cardiogenic shock

The daily dose is dependent on body weight and age:
0 to 6 months recommended 50 mg/kg, 6 months – 1 year 100 mg/kg, 1 to 5 years – 1000 mg/day. Older than 5 years 2000 mg/day. Adults 2-4 g depending on disease severity and doctor’s recommendations.
Postinfarction angina – 2-6 g per day (10 to 30 ml of solution) prescribed by a physician.
Karnilev can be drunk directly or diluted furhter in water or fruit juices. 1 months is the duration of treatment.
Adults with the syndrome of anorexia nervosa – 2 g 2 times/day. Duration of treatment: 1 – 2 months.
For appetite stimulation and weight gain in patients with chronic gastritis with decreased secretion and chronic pancreatitis with exocrine insufficiency single dose is 500 mg 2 times/day. Duration of treatment: 1 – 1.5 months.
Treatment of skin diseases single dose is 1 g of 2 times/day. Duration of treatment: 2-4 weeks.
Long-term physical activity 1-2 g 2-3 times/day. 30 minutes before breakfast and lunch.
Newborn 30 minutes before feeding in a single dose (2-5 drops), 2 times/day, daily dose – 50-100 mg/kg. For the newborns from the first day of life, or 5th day, which have suffered birth injury and asphyxia, duration of treatment 2-6 weeks.
