active substances: dorzolamide hydrochloride 22.26 (equivalent to dorzolamide 20.00), timolol maleate 6.83 mg (equivalent to timolol 5.00 mg).
excipients: mannitol, sodium citrate, hydroxyethylcellulose (natrozol HX 250), sodium hydroxide 1 M solution to pH 5.65, benzalkonium chloride 50% solution, sodium hydroxide 1 M solution to pH 5.5-5.8, water for injection.
for the treatment of elevated intraocular pressure, in patients with open-angle glaucoma or pseudoexfoliative glaucoma, when topical monotherapy with beta-blockers is not effective enough.
Possible iritis, avoid contact with soft contact lenses, remove contact lenses before use and wait at least 15 minutes after instillation of the drug. Adults (including the elderly): 1 drop in the conjunctival sac of the affected eye (a) 2 times a day. If the patient is simultaneously using other topical ophthalmic medicinal products, they should be used at least 10 minutes apart. If the patient simultaneously uses eye ointment, then it is applied last. Before instillation of eye drops, contact lenses must be removed, they can be put back on 15 minutes after instillation.
Before using the drug, wash your hands and avoid direct contact of the tip of the dispensing pipette with the eye and surrounding tissues. If used incorrectly, eye drops can become infected with bacteria, leading to serious inflammatory eye conditions that can lead to loss of vision. Patients need to be aware of the rules for storing and using the eye drop container.
