Novosaliс
Novosaliс is a combination of a strong glucocorticosteroid, betamethasone and salicylic acid. Novosalik has anti-inflammatory, antipruritic, antiproliferative, keratolytic and antimicrobial effects.
One gram of the drug contains:
active substances: betamethasone dipropionate – 0.643 mg, in terms of betamethasone – 0.500 mg, salicylic acid – 30,000 mg
excipients: white soft paraffin, liquid paraffin, isopropyl myristate, white wax.
- psoriasis, eczema (especially chronic), ichthyosis, atopic dermatitis, diffuse neurodermatitis
- simple and allergic dermatitis
- lichen simplex chronicus (limited neurodermatitis)
- subacute and chronic dermatoses with hyperkeratosis (including hairy areas of the skin): psoriasis, acute and chronic eczema, neurodermatitis, (especially warty red), lichen planus, dyshidrosis, seborrheic dermatitis, ichthyosis and other ichthyosis lesions, seborrhea of hairy areas of the skin.
For external use only
Novosalic ointment is applied twice a day. A small amount of the ointment is evenly distributed on the affected skin 2 times a day. In some patients, it is possible to achieve a satisfactory effect even with less frequent use of the drug.
Duration of treatment is determined by the severity of the inflammatory process, cessation of itching, cleansing of the skin, but should not exceed 14 days in adults and 5 days in children. The maximum weekly dose should not exceed 60 g.
