Dosage form: film-coated tablets.
Each film-coated tablet contains:
active substance : bisoprolol fumarate – 5 mg
excipients: pregelated starch, microcrystalline cellulose, crospovidone, colloidal anhydrous silicon dioxide, magnesium stearate, hypromellose, macrogol 6000, talc, titanium dioxide, iron oxide yellow E172.
Bisovega is taken orally, once a day with a small amount of liquid, in the morning before breakfast, during or after it. The tablets should not be chewed or powdered. In all cases, the regimen and dose are selected by the doctor for each patient individually, in particular, taking into account the heart rate and the patient’s condition.
In case of arterial hypertension and coronary heart disease the drug is prescribed 5 mg once a day. If necessary, the dose is increased to 10 mg once a day.
In the treatment of arterial hypertension and angina pectoris the maximum daily dose is 20 mg 1 time / day.
For patients with severe renal impairment (CC less than 20 ml / min.) or with severe hepatic impairment, the maximum daily dose is 10 mg 1 time per day.
Increasing the dose in these patients should be done with extreme caution. No dose adjustment is required in elderly patients.
